I moved to GSK House to become a Subject Matter Expert for the Global ERP Project working in Direct Procurement. I was able to bring the experience from my roles in the business working in Indirect and Direct Procurement to further develop my SAP knowledge.The role has involved the successful implementation of the ERP template into 15 Sites which has involved: writing Global Procurement GSOPs and producing training materials, running Business Process Training sessions, working with Functional Consultants and updating the Global design document to implement changes to the Global Template, testing the Global Solution in SAP to ensure Site’s data works and to help Users understand how processes work, working with users at Go Live to provide technical support and assistance and providing after care support to ensure Sites are able to use the system.I have worked on a multitude of developments working cross stream to ensure key deliverables which has included: Standard Stock Purchasing using Purchase Orders, Consignment Stocks, Subcontracting, Schedule Agreements, Contracts, MRP Analysis and Purchasing through APO. This has given me a wide understanding of how Direct Procurement works and how the data is set up to allow these various modules to operate.When the project finished at GSK I joined IKEA as an S2P Subject Matter Expert working in Indirect Procurement. This has given me the chance to work on the payment of Suppliers, working with Indirect Suppliers, S/4 HANA, Ariba, use a variety of tiles in Fiori and complement the work I have undertaken in Direct Procurement.I have been involved in turning around a failed deployment at the pilot Store for the global role out of SAP for IKEA in Dublin. This has involved working on a variety of projects and initiatives such as creating materials for Suppliers and introducing a robust Supplier Enablement process, introducing a No PO Pay Policy including running Vendor Forums, running a weekly S2P Huddle with key Stakeholders to review weekly issues / actions and putting together training material and run training workshops at the Store in Dublin.
