Melbourne Pathology is the leading diagnostic laboratory in Victoria, Australia. My role focuses on the processing of specimens, centrifugation of blood samples and aliquoting these samples for specific tests. I am required to work at a quick pace to keep up with the large amount of samples coming in from all of Victoria.On top of this, I also made and received phone calls from doctors and hospitals all over Melbourne, often times dealing with life threatening and urgent situations - These calls would often be taken at very early hours of the morning and dealt with swiftly.This position has also allowed me to further understand and explore many facets of a diagnostic laboratory and understand the processes behind the industry.

Completed a Master of Science in Bioinformatics in 2021, received First Class Honours authoring a thesis on the tumour landscape.
