Hello! My name is Patrick Herion and I am a graduate student at the University of Missouri studying atmospheric sciences. I studied broadcast journalism at MU and graduated Magma Cum Laude with a bachelor's of Journalism with an emphasis in radio and tv broadcasting, a minor in Spanish and a multicultural certificate. For the past three years, I have worked at our NBC affiliate KOMU as a jack of all trades. I have spent time as a multi-media journalist working on day-turn stories, a producer for the morning, afternoon and evening newscasts as well as a fill-in anchor for the morning show. I currently work as a Weathercaster for various newscasts at the station. For the next few years, I will be studying atmospheric sciences with the hopes of fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a broadcast meteorologist.
