Transitioned from my role as remote coordinator to in-person Assistant in the Pratt BFA Writing studios, a jack-of-all-trades position directly under Dept. Chair Beth Loffreda, Asst. Chair Aracelis Girmay, and Asst. to the Chair Kath Barbadoro. Fulfilled day-to-day office and clerical duties, including the upkeep of printers, typewriters, and other tools. Individually counseled and consulted with a number of students, primarily Freshmen, on their current progress/questions/concerns about the department and communicated those concerns regularly to supervisors. Maintained and edited the Pratt Commons via Wordpress, including the editing/posting of recorded guest lectures and readings. Coordinated pandemic-focused outreach and regularly communicated with Department professors regarding student concerns and work.

Worked full-time to coordinate remote outreach and orientation for accepted and incoming students in the Pratt Institute School of Liberal arts under the supervision of Writing chair Beth Loffreda and Dean Helio Takai. Created and managed a discord server and web portal to individually counsel students on their educational paths, organized events and readings, wrote and produced a number of instructional and easily-understandable guides to New York City, the Pratt experience, and the ins-and-outs of systems like Housing and Financial aid. Regularly reported findings, concerns, and questions to supervisors and management. Initially a team role, pandemic circumstances quickly led to employee drop-off, resulting in my largely independent management of this project.
