Served faithfully and honorably for seven years with distinction, including two overseas deployments and as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Specialist Took charge to fully understand the vast threats to the U.S. by means of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear attack. Ensured proper utilization of personnel and resources to accomplish any/all tasks assigned or arose.Properly maintained and accounted for equipment and personnel in an administrative environment and operational environment. Effectively instructed, trained, and gainfully employed subordinate Marines pertaining to their roles as Marines and within their specific job fields.

Accounted for, maintained, and issued $2M worth of equipment, ensuring the operability of all equipment and allowing the company to properly deploy and conduct is operation mission during seven IRF operations. Coordinated the deployment and consolidation of 150 personnel and 30 vehicles during the company exercise at AP Hill, VA. Section leader for an IRF unit, overseeing daily accountability of $2M worth of CBRN equipment and the readiness and mission capability of the team and its equipment. Ensured the maintenance section was prepared to assist with the execution of gross and detailed decontamination operations to mitigate the spread of and respond to the effects of contaminates through physical or chemical means when response personnel and or the pubic became contaminated. Hand selected to serve as CBIRF liaison representative with the Washington, DC Fire Department during the 2019 Marine Corps Marathon. Successfully instructed and trained 32 personnel in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, conducting three sustainment blocks totaling to over 785 personnel hours. Completed the Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Course and Expeditionary Bio-Surveillance Research Course tailored to the CBRN IRF mission. Ensured CBRN Defense training was adequately developed and delivered to personnel assigned to the battalion and maintained all CBRN equipment assigned to the unit.Served as the lead CBRN instructor during the 2017 Cobra Gold Exercise executed in Thailand, utilized interpreters to deliver CBRN threat and operations training to the Royal Thai Air Force and Navy.Restructured the unit’s CBRN Defense training and preparedness program; established Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Decontamination teams among all companies within the battalion.
