Prior to joining the MTA in 2006, held financial analytical positions with Standard and Poor’s, and director positions at the commodities regulatory firm the National Futures Association and at the educational institution The East Harlem School. Earned an M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.A. with a concentration in banking and finance from Morehouse College.The over ten years of financial experience includes: building financial and budgeting models using Microsoft Excel; overseeing and conducting audits; preparing profit/loss and financial statements; performing variance, investment, and financial statement analysis; speaking at annual state conferences; and managing personnel by coaching staff and implementing team building initiatives.
