Managing the Corporate Health and Safety Programs at three North American and three International manufacturing facilities. My responsibilities include, ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of all health safety programs to insure full compliance with all federal, state, provincial and local regulations.Help the company acheive zero landfill status.

My responsibilities at Henry Crown Company centered on managing the Health and Safety programs at nine Great Dane Trailer, three Bush Hog, Woodard and Formax operations. I was responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of all environmental and safety programs to insure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. In this position, I was also helped leed the Henry Crown Businesses Safety Network and organized the semi-annual conference which kept the network educated on OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI updated standards plus allowed us to communicate facility best practices. In addition I managed and conducted all safety and health audits of the manufacturing operations.

Monthly EHS audits of all mining, marine, shop, and off location construction sites. This experience has given me a strong knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, Coast Guard, and DOT regulations. In addition to monthly audits, I was responsible for employee training of hazard communication, electrical, fall protection, machine guarding, high explosives, workplace ergonomics, lockout/tag out, forklift training, and first aid/CPR/AED certification as well as conducting industrial hygiene sampling of employee exposures to weld fume and crystalline silica. I was also responsible for running the company Department of Transportation federal drug testing program and maintaining OSHA recordable injury data. In 2006, I co-wrote and developed the OHSAS18001 program for the company which received full certification.
