More than 20 years engineering experience specializing in water/wastewater infrastructure. Current Director of Public Services for Plymouth Township, Michigan, a municipality of about 28,000 residents and a significant industrial/commercial customer base. Current major project accomplishments:- Water/Wastewater Asset Management (AM); Development of AM program from scratch for Township’s sanitary sewer infrastructure, based on U.S. EPA’s AM framework. Program includes PACP/MACP condition assessment, risk/prioritization model development, and validated short- and long- term O&M and CIP; - EAMS/CMMS Implementation: Deployment and on-going administration of Cityworks AMS for facilitating Asset Management and promoting a GIS-centric work environment for Township’s Public Works Department;- Lead and Copper Program; Development of municipal-wide inventory and sample collection program for residential lead and copper water services. Program includes identifying and verifying lead or high risk sites for lead water services and complying with applicable state and federal regulations; and- Peak Flow Mitigation Program; Monitor and operate municipal water distribution system to mitigate peak water demands / high consumption of water purchased from Provider during high demand / summer months. Township's wholesale water rates are among lowest in Region directly due to program efforts.Other current areas of focus and/or interest include PFAS, 2018 America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) implementation and technological advances in the water/wastewater sector.
