I am the founder of Hypothia, a company developing advanced and efficient large language model (LLM) technologies to help businesses overcome the high costs and performance limitations of existing models. With nearly two decades of experience in generative AI, I have contributed to technological advancements for various organizations. My partners and I are currently prototyping new applications at the intersection of AI and finance as we prepare for pre-seed investments. As a faculty member at Duke University, I contributed to AI and data science initiatives across multiple disciplines, leading the application of machine learning and natural language processing to technology-based investment strategies for governments and corporations. I designed and taught courses on AI, philosophy, and information science that were cross-listed in several departments. At Aon, I directly contributed to transforming a $100 million investment in M&A, generative AI, and intangible asset-based capitalization into $300 million in annual revenue over three years. This achievement built upon the research and business development efforts from my time at Duke and my graduate studies at UNC.I have deep knowledge of language, machine learning, generative AI, innovation measurement, and company valuation. Prior to my work in AI and ML, I was a recognized poet, author, and artist, with multiple books published and artworks housed in permanent collections.
