I work with high school students on pre-employment transition skills to help better prepare them for when they decide to begin working.I also assist with leading the Wayne County Board of DD Summer Internship Program.

• Received all intake and referral of individual requesting developmental disability services through our agency.• Directly worked with individuals with and their Service Coordinator ensuring individuals were on time for appointments. I located housing for individuals within our program.• Collaborated with the Parent to Parent Resource Group and volunteered at their annual auction helping to raise nearly $50,000 to help support individuals with a developmental disability and their families..

• Serve as liaison between individuals involved with Community Employment Dept. and Transportation Dept. to fill needs, schedules, concerns and other items. • I work to ensure staffing ratios are met. • I fill in our Vocational Technical Educational Class as an Instructor and mentor. • Assist individuals who are currently looking for competitive employment in the community. • Provide Employment Consulting and educate local employers about how we can help their business. • Provide employment assistance with on the job training. Furthermore, I provide follow along to individuals employed in the community. • I work in collaboration with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, linking and referring individuals with a developmental disability to employment resources.

• Teaching kids the beautiful game of soccer. • I have obtained my State D Level Coaching License and U10-U12 Coaching Certificate through Ohio Youth Soccer Association North. • While coaching with the Ohio Storm I have coached at all youth levels from U9-U14 girls.• I taught technical, mental, physical and tactical skills to help them reach a higher level of play on and off the field. • Working with Ohio Storm Director of Coaching Scot Clap we were able to begin working with recreational level players and develop youth soccer players able to compete at a competitive level of play in the Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League Division 2 and Ohio Travel Soccer League Division 1

Assisting and supervising individuals with a developmental disability in a sheltered workshop setting. Providing meaningful activities to individuals at our work setting. Some activities I assisted with include cooking/baking, exercise, swimming, bowling, Special Olympics basketball and softball. I also assisted individuals with activities of daily living (ADL's) and (IADL's).

As an Activities Assistant I was responsible for implementing programing and monthly activity calendar. Also, providing residents with meaningful activities to improve daily quality of life. As an Activity Assistant I had many duties; interacting with families of residents, assisting other staff at the nursing facility, baking cakes, leading activities, helping with planning monthly activities, and grilling for special events.

I held a variety of positions while at Wayne Dalton garage door assembler, foam line operator, machine shop, guide assembly, grille assembly, and hood fabrication.

• As a Marine Corps Motor Transportation Specialist at 8th Engineer Battalion I was trained to operate and maintain combat ready dump trucks such as the M817, M929, M930.• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and trailers.• Update and maintain maintenance and service logs.• Proficiently shoot and maintain a wide range of weapons used by the Marine Corps.
