Create and serve various types of meals to customers in a polite, sanitary, and efficient manner. Prepare food for serving through various actions including washing and baking. Maintain cleanliness of store with sanitary standards in regards to hand-washing, safe food handling, sweeping, mopping, dish-washing, window cleaning, organizing stock, etc. Operate cash register for transactions. Maintain a general amount of cash in the register by balancing distribution between it and the safe. Regularly interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience. Accompany delivery driver on specified route and assist in delivery of packages in a timely manner. Perform any other tasks assigned by driver such as transferring packages to a different truck, organizing packages for efficient delivery, and utilize handheld computer to track packages and call out subsequent stops.

Assist customers in having a positive experience, locate items, and answer any questions customers have regarding merchandise. Operate register when necessary. Interact with customers over the phone to answer questions, sort out issues. Retrieve merchandise from warehouse. Ensure department is clean, organized, presentable, and well-stocked. Create labels and arrange displays, take inventory of merchandise. As Events Coordinator worked with many children in basic firearm safety, prepare and offer food samples, ensure smooth running of various other children’s activities.

Thorough inspection of all dormitory rooms on campus for broken and/or missing items. Repaired and replaced these items as necessary. Interacted with other Frostburg State Residence Life employees to coordinate work. Interact with students who remained on campus during the summer session.

Assist server in any way requested. Pleasant and polite interaction with customers. Mop and sweep floors at the end of the night. Coordinate and train other bussers.
