About Patrick K.
As a Principal Geoscientist at WSP with over 20 years of experience in geology, geochemistry, and hydrogeology, I apply my subsurface expertise to CO2 sequestration business development. Previously, I worked as a Project Geoscientist at Thurber Engineering applying my geochemical expertise to metal leaching and acid rock drainage on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project where I was responsible for weekly and monthly project progress reporting and mapping updates, geochemical database quality assurance and control, processing and interpretation, and guidance and leadership of field teams. I create value for the client by minimizing the disposal of rock material where possible and in adherence to the Canada Energy Regulator guidelines. I have co-authored publications in the Journal of Applied Geochemistry and the International Journal of Coal Geology. I am a proven value creator, with a focus on cost efficiencies during project management. I have a strong work ethic and a track record of quality technical work.
