I am a 33 year old editor, colourist and digital effects compositor with wide experience in documentary and TV shows particularly East Africa's Got Talent and the Blaze BYOB TV show.Aside from possessing advanced editing skills within Premiere and Final Cut and Da Vinci Resolve, I also possess an intermediate knowledge of colour-grading and a basic understanding of audio mixing and DAWs in general. Previous work in animation means I have great familiarity with graphics platforms and workflows, particularly After Effects and Photoshop. Moreover, my continued work as a scriptwriter means I possess a hands-on understanding of the big picture beyond post-production and know what it takes to move projects from script to screen. The productions I've been part of have involved high profile clients and complex systems of moving parts, some of which had to be co-ordinated internationally. I thus also possess the soft-skills and market knowledge beyond editing necessary to coordinate and deliver work that satisfactorily matches clients' guidelines and visions.I am interested in post-production opportunities that will allow me to expand my skill-set and gain a wider range of production experience. My aim is to craft work that will enable audiences to gain new appreciation of the possibilities within themselves, within art and within the world around them.
