Patrick managed the P&I Team; was a member of JLT's Marine Executive and Specialty's Business Development Team. He was designated the 'go to' person for offshore marine matters in P&I by JLT's Head of Marine & Energy. Patrick is a P&I specialist experienced in cross selling other marine lines including Hull, Professional indemnity and Special Risks; who combined his business development and management roles with account responsibility for a large number of JLT's 'blue chip' marine accounts. Patrick had particular involvement in the Greek, Cypriot, Belgium and French markets and acted as the London link with JLT's regional offices in Australia, Dubai and Singapore and placed JLT's Brazilian P&I business.

Patrick was Joint Global Head of Claims and a Director on the Club's Management Board. Patrick combined these roles with running the largest claims group which covered about one third of the Club's tonnage drawn from Europe (excluding Greece), Russia, Turkey, MENA and India. Patrick previously managed the Club's FD&D business and wrote the Club's FD&D business processes and operational guidance procedures.
