Construction requires an overall track profile raise of approximately 4.5 feet and the construction of 4000 linear feet of retaining wall without utilization of a shoofly.• Each bridge superstructure was replaced executed in a single 24 hour window between the last train on the old structure and the first train on the new.Caltrain, Quint Street Bridge Replacement, Project Manager, $12M, (March 2012 to November 2016)• Replace a 1907 vintage 12 span steel structure with an elevated soil berm structure. • Required the City of SF to vacate public right of way via Board Resolution and mayoral approval with extensive community involvement and cooperationCaltrain, Jerrold Avenue Bridge Replacement, Assistant Project Manager, $13.6M, (October 2010 to February 2012)• Replaced a 1907 vintage three span steel through girder railroad structure with a 132 foot single span steel through girder structure.• Primary cutover executed in a single 12 hour window between the last train on the old structure and the first train on the new.• Recognized by Structural Engineers Association of Northern California: Outstanding Structural Engineering Project of the Year.Caltrain, Station Hardening, Project Manager, $2.3M, (September 2009 to September 2011)• Constructed a perimeter of vehicular barriers around three active Caltrain stations without impacting passenger access

Worked diligently to ensure a safe travelling right-of-way is maintained for 50,000 daily passengers of the Caltrain commuter railroad. Oversaw Maintenance, design and construction of railroad civil infrastructure, with a focus on railroad bridge structures. Monitored compliance with all federal and state regulations. Maintained and revised engineering standards, design criteria, and training documents. Key tasks:Caltrain Bridge Inspector, • Responsible to conduct both routine and emergency inspections in order to maintain or restore rail service over the 298 railroad structures on the Caltrain right of way.Federal Railroad Administration Mandated Bridge Management System (Title 49 CRF part 237) • Developed a Bridge Management System, including a complete structural database, comprehensive structural inspection procedures and detailed record keeping system in compliance with the FRA mandate.Engineering standards revision Capital Project Oversight• Provide review and guidance for all civil infrastructure portions of the capital program. • Identified and resolved errors and omissions in the design package, preventing significant impacts on both schedule and budget.Inspection and Maintenance oversight• Oversee and review, daily and annual inspection and maintenance activities of track and bridge structures.• Execute short and long range planning of maintenance and capital improvement work.
