Managed the Document Processing product in the Inbound Services business unit, which is an enterprise utility that combines people, process and technology to drive and enable scale & efficiency through mail receipt, centralized and remote imaging, document classification, data entry and extraction, and routing for transaction processing activities. Responsibilities included development of a strategic product roadmap and oversight on enhancements to the product offering across multiple functional teams (IT, Operations, Client Services, Risk, Finance); thought leadership in transaction processing business transformation programs to realize improvements in quality, cost and customer satisfaction; and effective communication to present complex concepts to senior leadership of the business and production associates with language and key points appropriate to each audience.

Managed business development interactions between the business unit responsible for mail receipt/imaging & processing and the other business line functions within Fidelity, including the client-facing teams and back-office operations.

Managed imaging products & services for the mail processing operations facility within Fidelity. This included product lifecycle development and management for image creation through centralized and remote scanning, faxing & electronic image & data transmission. Other responsibilities included business planning and project prioritization for mail processing line of business, and personnel management of two product analysts.

Provided financial analysis & support for the technology department of the mail processing operation in Fidelity, including budget preparation and management. This department included both Technology and Product Management functions of an internal, back-office operation.

Built and maintained long-term relationships with clients by providing superior personal service. Daily activities included meetings with existing clients and prospective clients regarding commercial credit and deposit products to support business objectives and goals. I also promoted the bank’s interests at community functions and served as a financial advisor and constructive financial critic to the bank’s customers for both commercial and personal financial needs.

Developed and managed cash management products for the deposit service needs of both commercial and individual clients. Daily activities included setup, installation, training and maintenance of software for ACH origination, check image management and online banking (PC-based and Internet); account analysis and setup of automated sweep services; joint calls with lending officers for product presentation and education to clients and prospective clients; and development, implementation and support of new investment products and services.

Responsible for establishing, analyzing and reviewing loan data on new, renewal and existing loans, as well as preparing concise spreadsheets and reports for bank officers on the bank’s loan portfolio. I also managed customer credit files to ensure that current reports, financial statements, and other related information were properly maintained for active customer accounts, and provided technical advice and assistance to loan officers including credit inquiries, financial analysis and summary reports as needed and requested.
