Senior Npi Change Manager - Origin And Ascent Drive Units
Current•Manage a team of New Product Introduction (NPI) change technicians and change analysts on the drive unit line as the senior engineering change representative for propulsion in the company.• Integrate and drive results across cross-functional teams whilst acting as the voice of the manufacturing plant always ensuring that change is managed as such that manufacturing can consume it.• Facilitate Engineering Change Request meetings and Part Concession Reviews to understand the scope of change and determine the impact to production control based on the assessment of the change.•Lead various cross-functional Program and Manufacturing Build Change Management Readiness forums to obtain all the data required to execute the change. Provide clear updates on status and recovery plans as necessary at both working and executive level.•Create and deliver multiple reports on a weekly basis to senior management to drive progress on the prototype Ascent Drive Unit.•Lead the change readiness work stream, working closely with the change analyst team to ensure that all downstream parties are aware and prepared for the change.•Manage change from end to end for 3 Drive Unit launches from the earliest prototype builds to serial production and eventually end of life phase out.•Work split between on-site at the Illinois plant, and on-site at the Michigan prototype facility, collaborating with and managing both teams.•Manage part readiness and risk for all builds at the Michigan Drive Unit prototype facility as the primary point of responsibility.•Coordinate launch of the Ascent Drive Unit at the Normal plant while managing ramp down of the Origin Drive Unit.•Improve the NPI and change management process ensuring 100% execution accuracy of changes under my responsibility.•Covered Enduro Drive Unit as NPI change manager for Q1 2023 in addition to my Origin and Ascent duties while supporting coverage was out of office.
