I am currently working on the Client Returns team at USI Insurance Services. My experiences from working in the AR department along with my cooperative and critical thinking nature has helped me become a valuable team player who can assist other departments with complex issues while maintaining my own up-tempo workflow. Before USI, my life was quite different as a touring guitar/synth player for a pop/punk band. I was able to have an amazing experience where I met some of my heroes and found a few new ones while recording and performing all around the Eastern and Midwest United States. From selling out the NorVA in Norfolk to hand packaging hundreds of albums before a show in the middle of nowhere Iowa, I learned the value of resilience and professionalism. Although my days of acting wild on stage are behind me, I believe my experiences of running the band as a business and focusing constantly on the bigger picture are invaluable. I am a team player who constantly seeks efficiency and seeks to achieve nothing less than excellence in every challenge I set for myself. I love breaking down and fully understanding complex issues to be able to see them from angles most wouldn't. This combined with my ability to buckle down and focus on processing high volumes of payments has made me a valuable asset to every department I have worked in. In my personal time I love stargazing with my telescope, playing ultimate frisbee with friends, and still dabble in recording and playing music. I was born in Cleveland, but while working with Ford my father moved the family around from central to the northeastern US, eventually landing in Virginia Beach. Although my family has since moved back to Ohio, I have set myself on my own path seeking personal growth and new challenges; staying upbeat and dedicated wherever it may take me.
