Psychological Services

Provided clinical services on a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric unit for children ages 5 - 17. Activities include psychological testing and group therapy services, program consultation, and staff education and training. Functioned as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Also provided support services and consultation functions for related Adult and Senior Adult Inpatient Units. Provided Behavioral Health consultations to mental health, substance abuse, and medical units as requested.

Responsible for daily statistical analysis, operational reports, quality assurance, and marketing functions for a 48-bed inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric program in a freestanding psychiatric hospital. Assisted the Program Director, a licensed psychologist, in meeting daily operational requirements of the various programs.

Responsible for daily operation of a 16-bed adolescent program, and a 12-bed children’s program. Included monitoring and application of daily behavior management system, supervision of psychiatric technicians, and implementation of treatment plans.

Responsible for direct patient care duties on an acute care inpatient adult psychiatric unit. Facilitated group and modal therapy meetings and activities, took vital signs, and monitored reactions to medications as prescribed by medical staff and treatment team.
