I am passionate about the science of nutrition, and the huge implications that inadequate nutrition can play in our lives, be it disease management, disease prevention or general well being. Since graduating I have found myself adopting the role of a nutrition advisor focusing my work on promoting nutritional knowledge and awareness to students in schools and colleges both in England and Ireland.People in general have a strong desire to understand and practice living lives as healthy as possible and understanding the role of nutrition is key factor in this. I strive to deliver informative, engaging and practical nutritional advice and cooking demonstrations frequently developing new exciting healthy recipes and adapting others to meet a wide range nutritional requirements.At heart I am a biochemist and a keen scientist always eager to keep up with latest nutritional research findings in peer-reviewed publications.My long term goal is to become a company nutritionist where I can expand my expertise in food knowledge, food legislation and future foods development/ NPD.
