My research interests include literacy, dyslexia, and the neuroscience of learning to read. I am also interested in curriculum development and the incorporation of digital learning in the endeavor to universalize the attainment of literacy.

Aided in the establishment and management of the research lab of Dr. Jason Yeatman at the University of Washington. Developed a database of families of struggling readers in the Puget Sound Region. As a research intern I studied font readability for users of Gmail. During my three-month internship I ran two studies collecting both qualitative and quantitative measures, analyzed data using Python, and presented the results across organization within Google concerned with font. The results were also written up and submitted to CHI.
