Spearheaded a project aimed at migrating outdated ASP/XSL legacy screens to a contemporary version using C# and Microsoft MVC. Tasked with rectifying missed features from the original code base and implementing functionalities overlooked by previous developers. Addressed a range of existing bugs, ensuring enhanced system stability. Continued the ongoing development initiated during the effort at the original company, OpenClose. Contributed to sprint tasks and followed SCRUM methodology. Tasks encompassed the development of administrative-level screens essential for upcoming features. Additionally, undertook research spikes aimed at providing insights into the effort levels required for specific Epics or Stories, addressing various queries. Led a project focused on migrating outdated ASP/XSL legacy screens to a contemporary iteration using C# and MVC. Played a pivotal role in enhancements to an in-house framework utilizing dependency injection and a service-based architecture. The service architecture efficiently managed interactions with the data layer and facilitated the creation of view models essential for MVC views. Employed Bootstrap styling on the screens as a standard for the look and feel of each screen.Engineered a service plug-in designed for seamless integration with Fannie Mae's Loan Product Advisor (LPA) API. Employed OAuth authentication to obtain tokens from LPA, facilitating subsequent queries to their interface. Orchestrated request generation within the application using diverse loan documents and transformations, crafting the request payload forwarded to LPA. Subsequently, LPA responded with a polling request, which prompted the interface to periodically poll LPA at specified intervals for the complete response. Upon reception of the response payload, parsed and assimilated various documents and requisite data into the system, enhancing the loan's information repository.

Performed various tasks involving migration of web application from older .NET 3.5 framework to .NET 4.0. One major contribution was the refactoring of old dashboard tabbed control which originally used monolithic JavaScript to ASP.NET user control which used an embedded tab control instead. This made the maintenance of the dashboard control items much easier to manage.Added new features to several previously existing forms throughout the system. Helped optimize a few problem areas. One form after a refactor achieved an increase in efficiency of 10 times faster than previous method. This increase in efficiency was achieved by removing code which performed brute force monolithic looping through data record collection and replaced this code with a procedural call from the database and data binding the result set the control.Created a document management feature using grid controls. This feature was designed to track versions of documents that were edited and displayed on the grid as a collapsible control. It also had the ability to merge together several documents. Several procedures were designed and implemented in order to track revision history on documents and to maintain the status of the documents.Created needed forms utilizing ASP.NET based model view controller pattern. This pattern allowed for a minimal of code behind on the forms involved and allowed for good separation of duties for easier code maintenance. A data model, used for both screen and a pdf document generation was retrieved from the database by deserializing XML returned from a select procedure. The controller would data bind the data model to the form view to populate the form with the data. After form entries were changed and submitted the controller would then load the data model from the view controls and then the data model would serialize this data and send it to an update database procedure which would then deserialize the xml to update the record.

Features included printing capabilities, email notification, sound management. Added screen and features to main product web application suite using ASP.NET. Created several user controls and status screens to supply end user the information on various components in the system. Utilized Silverlight and WCF RIA services to add various screens and controls that were used to control equipment and obtain status information of various system tasks. Created support for a card reader using a WCF hosted service that supported various other devices. The data from both barcode and magnetic stripe readers where parsed and read to confirm that the card read was good. Created a WCF service which controls a device which is designed to read passenger card magnetic stripe information and the card barcode. With this information the WCF service using LINQ to SQL will make sure that the data is associated with a specific passenger in the database. Created a WCF service host that runs as a service on a system that is used for an access control device which sent status information to the main server computer in order to be displayed in an ASP.NET web application.Using Microsoft Micro Framework created embedded programs that would serve as access control devices. This programming was designed to send a proprietary protocol to allow dynamic programming of the I/O for various functions required.
