I am a highly trained clinically oriented pharmacist with expertise in high risk sterile compounding, pharmacy management, and clinical programs. My current work involves the sterile compounding of high risk intrathecal medications at industry leading standards. I am involved in developing and improving master formulations, clinical consultations, current guideline reviews, high risk batch and individualized compounding, and compounding workflow/scheduling. Through my work, I have gained extensive exposure to USP guidelines, pharmacy state laws for numerous states, FDA regulations regarding 503A pharmacy practice and comprehensive medication reviews. My current professional interests include compounding practices in 503A, 503B, hospital and infusion pharmacies, optimizing pharmacy workflow, and reviewing compounding formulations to improve patient safety and outcomes.
