Apereo provides edtech communities and educational organizations the resources to collaborate and co-create open source projects and promote communities of practice to deliver innovative and impactful academic and administrative solutions not achievable by any single institution or organization.As the Executive Director of the Apereo Foundation, I support multiple communities of practice, including open source software projects, academic and research institutions, edtech companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. In this role, I oversee strategic initiatives, cultivate community engagement, and ensure the effective stewardship of the foundation's resources. The Executive Director's leadership guides the foundation's mission to "foster, develop, and sustain open technologies and innovation in support of learning, teaching, and research."With an unwavering commitment to open source principles and practices, along with the contributions of the vibrant and diverse Apereo community, I am honored and excited to contribute to advancing technical infrastructure and improving access to, equity across, and the quality of higher education.
