I am a learner, intellectually curious and interested in both gaining and sharing knowledge. I love the challenge of identifying and solving problems, whether related to a student's weak performance in organic chemistry or flaws in experimental protocols. My preference is to be in a dynamic environment, where I can enjoy collaborating and brainstorming as part of a team but will also be counted on to work individually. Every one of my colleagues, current and former, can attest that I'm fascinated with biotech and medical science, and possess the skills to think critically and communicate my thoughts clearly.I'm currently working as a test-prep instructor, with over a decade of experience preparing students for admissions tests for health professions programs (MCAT, DAT, OAT, and PCAT) with Kaplan. Recent research laboratory experience includes three years in an immunology lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center, following two years in a cancer genetics lab while getting my MS at Adelphi University.
Listed skills include Immunology, Protein Assays, Immunoassays, Genetics, and 23 others.
