As part of my role in Production Support I develop new and maintain scripts (both batch and shell) for our automated system. I also write stored procedures in SQL with the purpose of maintaining the databases. Using MS SQL Server Managment Studio, I backup, restore and shrink the databases of our test system. Another large part of my role involves developing validation rules for online rates through the Unix environment which I also maintain.Also when designated I would both chair and act as secretary in meetings.

In my role as Production Support I monitoring our system using Autosys, which gives an overview of our batch jobs, for failures and overrunning jobs. I also monitor our systems reports using Buisiness Objects Enterprise.I also write new batch/unix jobs for projects that require automation or to be run on schedules. Using PuTTY, I transfer these new jobs into Autosys to be scheduled. I also write macros for Excel spreadsheets as output from stored procedures which are later made a part of our automation.

As a part of my role in Capita, I was responsible for updating and developing Stored Procedures that are used in a financials based database across multiple markets. I am responsible for day-to-day back end changes to re-enforce data integrity, in order to prevent issues arising for clients during investments. Additionally, I regularly update and create new procedures to improve business efficiency by means of dynamic server and error handling through script templates.

As an intern in Trend Micro, I was responsible for programming reports using SQL Reporting Services to create dynamic reports that detailed case and engineering details. Throughout my role, I developed proficient teamwork and programming skills throughout the various code editors I used.
