Oversee security protocols and manage security teams tasked with protecting patients, employees, and visitors. Responsible for security operations at two hospitals and satellite locations including medical offices and clinics. Manage investigations involving employees, vendors, and visitors. Ensure compliance with administrative protocols and Joint Commission standards. Liaison with numerous outside entities including law enforcement agencies and municipalities. Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols and emergency procedures. Administer card access controls for employees and vendors. Liaison with NYS Department of Health Emergency Preparedness officials for training and grants available to the hospital network. Environment of Care (EOC) committee member.

Commanding Officer of the Detective Division, consisting of the Major Case Unit, Crime Scene Unit, Financial Crimes Unit, Cold Case Unit, Digital Forensic Unit, Forensic Science Laboratory, and Special Victims Unit. Also supervised various Detectives assigned to federal task forces across the region. Served as Chairman of the Detective Division Selective Board. Instituted case management strategies resulting in high clearance rates.
