Patrick McGarry is an active member in his community and his profession. An avid volunteer with several local groups, and a proud member of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, he has helped raise significant money for many important local charities and causes. Patrick’s current community involvement includes 100 Men Who Care Ottawa and as a Director of Kind Canada Généreux. Professionally, he is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of Guaranteed Funeral Deposits of Canada the Ontario Board of Funeral Services. Patrick is a licensed funeral director, was recognized by the Ottawa Business Journal in 2009 as a Forty Under 40 Recipient and attained his Executive MBA from the Telfer School of Management in 2020.Patrick McGarry is an Owner and the Chief Operating Officer of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Funeral, Cremation and Celebration of Life Services, a local business that has served the Nation’s Capital region since 1925.
