Worked within the Office of Management and Budget, as a member of the Budget Development team to asses the resources of assigned state agencies and make recommendations to the Governor in alignment with stated priorities, monitor expenditures and compliance, and analyze adjustments to staffing or funding composition in current year appropriations. Also provided analysis of pending legislation for Governor's Office review.Budgetary responsibilities included being the primary analyst for public education, transportation, public safety, agriculture, and volunteer fire protection services and National Guard units. Worked within the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget for the State Recovery Lead to monitor expenditures and compliance as well as inform Officials, stakeholders, and the public with regards to the State's receipt of over $6 billion in temporary federal aid for a wide variety of government services, programs, and projects.Was tasked with reconciling decentralized state-agency reports to statewide systems, curating content for a public information website, and generating reports and sharing information for members of Congress and staff with the Government Accountability Office.
