A member of the Risk Analytics team tasked with ensuring that the risk profile of the Central Bank’s balance sheet is measured and monitored effectively through appropriate qualitative and quantitative analyses of financial risks. This includes stress testing and regular risk reporting.

Part of the Investment Policy and Risk Monitoring team which carried out risk analysis and reporting on the Central Bank’s discretionary investment portfolio including contributing to reviews of investment assets, limit/position monitoring and reporting, rate of return calculations, duration and VaR calculations and analysis.

Roles in both Banking Supervision and Payments and E-Money Supervision. In Banking Supervision I was part of a supervision team for Less Significant Institutions (LSIs) under the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM).Engaged in Supervisory Review and Evaluation Processes (SREPs), Fitness and Probity (F&P) assessments, devising and assessing Risk Mitigation Programmes (RMPs) and reviews of Recovery and Wind-Down Plans, among other activities.These were dynamic roles where I gained experience across a number of risks, in particular liquidity risk, safeguarding risk and operational risk. Also gained experience in the assessment of business models, strategy and governance.

Worked in Consulting and Assurance as part of my placement year from university. My projects were related to IFRS 16 and an economic impact assessment.
