As a QC Supervisor at Tremco CPG, I manage the quality control team at the Rhode Island facility of 6 people. I work on quality improvement processes, Investigate and Validate Customer Quality Complaints, and alleviate any pain points the QC team may have. I also serve as an internal ISO auditor, conducting audits for various departments and sister companies. With my ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, I help the company comply with the international standards for quality and environmental management systems.My passion for chemistry and analytical skills started at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I earned my BS in Chemistry in 2018. As an undergraduate researcher, I worked with a group that developed new and improved methods to measure the concentration of arsenic in rice using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). I reported the results verbally and in written form to the principal investigator and other group members, and contributed to the annual reports on the project findings. I have trained in 5S laboratory management, data reporting in JMP, and rheology. Skills that I continue to apply and refine in my current role. My goal is to leverage my expertise to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for the coating industry.
