Grew up working in the restaurant industry and have worked numerous other jobs in the hospitality industry ranging from catering, promotional, and even as a deckhand. I currently work part time in the catering industry to help support my dream job directing a surf school. As a surf coach I enjoy teaching/guiding todays youth via my passion of surfing and using the many tools the ocean has to offer to help them live a better life. The job can be both physically and mentally challenging, especially when the ocean currents and waves pick up, as the camps can range from 30-50 kids a week during the summer. However, I seem to thrive in these conditions and love organizing/running a strong team of coaches to ensure that not only is each kid safe but learning/enjoying themselves. I love interacting with people and always have a smile on my face and a positive attitude. I am reliable, trustworthy, well spoken and confident in my abilities. I also am punctual and prompt with correspondence. As an avid surfer, mountain biker, and outdoors man I try to live an active, adventurous, positive, and healthy lifestyle. I have lived in all four corners of the United States and even spent 3 months through out Peru and its neighboring states. I moved around a lot growing up bouncing up and down Northern and Southern California and finishing high school in CT. On my own I have lived in both NC, SC, and just moved from Newport, RI to San Diego were I have always wanted to live. This has given me a unique view of the world that surounds me and complete respect and understanding of all cultures not just within our borders but outside as well.
