Support development and execution of the nonconformance coordination processes during Artemis ground and launch operations. Acting as an Orion Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Design Center representative evaluating, dispositioning, and resolving vehicle discrepancies with cross program Problem Resolution Teams (PRT) between Exploration Ground Systems (EGS), Space Launch System (SLS), and Orion Artemis programs. Cross-Program Problem Reporting and Corrective Action (CP-PRACA) Lead Analyst for all nonconformances taken on Orion during ground transport, fueling, Launch Abort System (LAS) assembly, Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) stacking and SLS integration, Launch Pad 39B, launch countdown, splashdown landing and recovery, and spacecraft de-servicing operations. Additionally, acting as the Orion Nonconformance Marshal for Orion ground processing nonconformance and corrective action closure and evaluation activities adequately monitoring, tracking, trending, communicating, and presenting discrepancies to Subject Matter Experts (SME), management, and multi-discipline SMA, Engineering, System Managers (SM), and prime contractor personnel across multiple NASA centers and programmatically between Orion, EGS, and SLS to disposition nonconformances, help assess and weigh risks, and implement long- and short-range corrective actions to prevent issues from recurring on subsequent Artemis missions. Additionally responsible for government oversight and insight activities with the Orion prime contractor over the Orion spacecraft's manufacturing and assembly processes in the Industrial Operating Zone (IOZ). This includes, leading audits per AS9100 aerospace industry standards, implementing In Line Assessments (ILA), and quantifying Acceptance Quality Limits (AQL) for Material Review Board (MRB) nonconformance assessments.

Served as a Quality Engineer supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program. Designed a Surveillance Tracking Analytical Resource (STAR) tool to aid in EGS Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA)’s Certificate of Flight Readiness (CoFR) for Artemis I. Tracked EGS prime contractor performance through trending nonconformances by Artemis flight hardware elements, internal Work Authorization Documents (WAD), Work Order (WO) reviews, past NASA surveillances/inspections, and areas of potential risk. Completed divers work assignments detailing in multiple directorates across KSC. Verified and performed Government Mandatory Inspection Points (GMIP) on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and flight hardware. Assessed Material Review Board (MRB) nonconformances. Conducted inspections and planned surveillances for the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage Pathfinder offload, transportation, and lifting operations in the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) as well as Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) RL10 engine inspections.

Designed a quality assurance surveillance tool for tracking historical, current, and potential areas of concerns, for insight and oversight Government Mandatory Inspection Point (GMIP) activities for Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Quality Engineering Branch use. Executed insight, oversight, surveillances, and GMIPs on Exploration Mission-1 (EM-1) flight hardware, Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) and RL10 engine, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Helped plan inspections and procedural oversight to the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) Stage Adaptor (MSA) Supper Guppy offloading, transportation, and lifting/hoisting operations. Supported inert Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) stacking processes in the Vehicle Assembly Building(VAB). Aided in facilities Verification and Validation (V&V) procedures. Final verbal and poster presentation to branch chief engineers, and monthly technical presentations of results (NASA/TM – 20180004783).

Led design, research, and development activities for Inconel 718 and Titanium additive manufactured propulsion systems for green low toxicity AF-M315E and LMP-103S high-performance monopropellant thrusters. Designed additively manufactured Inconel 718 1 Newton (N) main thruster engines test articles for the CubeSat mission MoonBEAM. Co-authored NASA Technical Memorandum (NASA/TM – 20205009114) Design and Development of an Additively Manufactured 1N Green Propellant Thruster. Aided with 1N thruster testing efforts for the Lunar Flashlight CubeSat mission. Implemented Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) design technics to develop an Inconel 718 and Titanium additive manufactured thermal standoff and injector for a 440N thruster in support of a NASA and Orbital ATK Announcement of Collaborative Opportunity (ACO) thruster development project. Published and presented this work at AIAA 2018 Joint Propulsion and Energy Conference - Additively Manufactured Thermal Standoff and Injector for a 440N Low-Toxicity Monopropellant Thruster DOI: 10.2514/6.2018-4895. Implemented Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices in creating drawing packages and designing new manufacturing life cycles for additive manufactured spaceflight hardware. Performed thermal, fluid, structural, and propulsion design analysis on spaceflight population system hardware. Built and tested a Post Launch Pressurization System (PLPS). Gave biweekly technical presentations of results to management and final poster presentation. Voted intern of the semester and Poster Expo Peer Award recipient for best individual project and poster.

Designed and additively manufactured fixtures and tooling to aid in the quality and quantity of products manufactured in-house which increased the quality of production by approximately 40%. Developed and managed a newly implemented thermistor manufacturing line to produce thermistors for Engine Control Modules. Collaborated with manufacturing line workers, technicians, engineers, and management to analyze potential problems and enhancements in production. Created and led the engineering intern department within the company and mentored interns within it.
