Solid/liquid filtration has become my blood, keeping me alive in the last 30 years. Having grown up in an industrial environment where family and friends involved me in projects and lab work, it was the most natural thing for me to study engineering. Despite the fact that in the meantime I have less time to spend in labs, I am still very much involved in project work and technical decision taking, which is really what I enjoy most.As a chemical engineer I have tried to look beyond the bare mechanics of solid/liquid filtration and understand the World from the view of a process engineer whose task is to optimise his plant or develop new designs based on research findings. Keeping this in mind I feel it is easier to understand and participate in clients’ decision taking process.So, if you are looking for help in solid/liquid separation on a broader scheme and are happy to take a fresh look at things, then I may be able to step in…I am a deep believer in the efficiency of things, finding ways to get through life without leaving behind large foot prints. This has opened new interests in computer science, electronics, renewable energies, and electric cars. The design and construction of a high powered electric motorbike had kept me busy over weekends for some time, while I now enjoy my free time developing micro controller apps for controlling electric cars and solar chargers.
