Project:Construction & Completion of Phase 2 of 800 No.Housing Units for National Police & Kenya Prisons Services.Key responsibilities.1. Incorporating changes to the schematic architectural designs to work with the MSSBS & alpha Bloks.2. Preparing all sites layout plans from the topographical maps for project manager’s approval.3. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule milestones, activities, deliverables within the intended start and finish dates.4. Project’s Work Programme to approval; preparing & monitoring draft construction cost estimates for all 5 sites.5. Working on the preliminary site works to precisely set-out all foundation works with the help of line & Dot laser level, Dumpy levels,theodolite etc.6. Periodic taking of site measurements ; valuation for payment while noting any variations.7. Managing people of different categories to work together to execute the project economically without affecting the quality in a well-planned and organised manner.8. Day-to-day construction management of all 5 sites while liaising between the office and sites.9. Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction & fabrication of steel structure and in accordance with the approved project schedule.10. Monitoring and reporting to the Contractor of the project details, including progress and risks in a timely manner.12. Ensuring all changes to specifications, work scope and documents are documented.

Supervising assigned projects to their completion while paying special attention to the allotted budget and details for the project as a whole.3. Providing technical support to all management processes, maintaining, updating all logs and documenting all estimates.4. Performing quantity survey with help of CAD and Ms Office and maintaining compliance to an efficient project schedule. 5. Coordinating with Chief Executive Officer to administer efficient working of construction process, monitoring lifecycle of all projects and preparing all project controls.6. Overseeing all engineering processes in construction projects and providing subject matter expertise as per requirement while performing regular tests on procedures to ensure compliance to all regulations.7. Evaluating all designs and drawings before implementation. 8. Maintaining knowledge on all contract terms and legal requirements for all construction projects to avoid any delay in projects and providing support to all work groups.9. Evaluating all projects and recommending various cost savings methods for the same. 10.Organizing and attending various staff meetings on weekly basis.
