Also as lead pressman I approved jobs ran on press and handled inventory.Ink Technician/ Ink room supervisor- Handled all Inks for webs, ra's, and boe's. Responsible for inventory of Ink and chemicals, ordering of ink and chemicals, and for quality of print on all 32 presses. Other responsibilities Included draw downs on each individual ink, handling 4 color process inks, creating formulas for colors in the pre press stage. Approving colors created, taking ph and viscosity readings. Adjusting color, ph, and viscosity on presses when needed. Doing maintenance on the ink machine when needed. Having a knowledge of pms colors for both offset and litho presses
