I am a confident, respectful, hard-working, and adaptable student at the University of Connecticut. I am fluent in English as well as Polish, with a basic level of knowledge of Spanish. I have an interest in Accounting, Financial Management, Fixed Income Securities, Statistical Analysis, and Public Speaking. I am empathetic to the needs of my colleagues but I am objective and fact oriented when I need to be. In a collaborative environment, I tend to act as the mediator or leader in discussions and group work.As a financial management major, I have developed a strong foundation of knowledge in the realms of accounting, financial management, micro and macroeconomics, and fixed income security valuation. During my time at UConn, I have gained valuable analytical and problem-solving skills that I am eager to apply in a career in financeI have completed relevant coursework such as Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting, and Fixed Income Security Valuation, as well as courses in statistics, business information systems, operations management, and business communications. I am also comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large audiences.I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in accounting or fixed income, but I am open to exploring other areas of finance.
