This is achieved through negotiating special pricing offers, funneling business to our approved vendors to ensure volume rebates are attained, and by accurately recording and billing product placement fees for items included on the web and in our catalogs.I also maintain sales reports on a quarterly basis in order to track trends in product usage, organize pricing files to ensure their accuracy, and submit weekly progress reports to ensure department goals are being met. All of this information is uploaded to our corporate intranet site using Microsoft SharePoint so that it can be viewed, edited and maintained by National Pen team members.I am also in charge of compiling and maintaining the vendor contact list, arranging for visits from current and potential new vendors as well as conducting those product presentation meetings. After a meeting has been held it is my responsibility to compile the action items from that meeting and distribute the information to the appropriate parties for completion.This job highlights my ability to work independently with little supervision, self-motivation to get the job done as an at-home worker, proficiency in negotiating agreements with vendors, and ability to effectively communicate with others through written correspondence.
