My responsibilities also include making contact with incoming leads from conference affiliate markets inquiring about space, coming up with a quote and an agreement that will benefit both the client and the hotel, drawing up the contracts for the event order, meeting with the clients for site visits, and developing and maintaining relationships with the clients. Responsibilities also include building quotes and opportunities on CI as well as contracts and other administrative work for the catering sales team.

Post rotation, I received intensive training in Hotel Sales and Convention & Catering services. This program also consists of a Capstone project, professional development courses, and leadership workshops.

Oversaw operations and employee relations for all non-table service property Food and Beverage outlets at the 800-Room Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. This included overseeing day-to-day operations in In-Room Dining, The Marketplace, and the Regency Club. Was also in charge of ordering food supplies, kitchen supplies, and uniforms. Employee responsibilities included creating schedules, payroll, feedback, and training new associates.

Hyatt Place Sugar Land

Main responsibilities included checking guests in and out of rooms, guest relations, preparing food orders in the kitchen, beverage/coffee orders at the bar, setting up and taking down banquet event orders, cleaning the breakfast area, and operating the hotel shuttle. Other responsibilities included answering phone calls, creating reservations, office administrative work, and inventory checks.
