Duties and Responsibilities:Head of Market Information CentreCollection of trade opportunity information from buyers and sellersLinking buyers and sellers of agricultural commoditiesApplying for bids offeredSupervising two subordinatesTraining Farmers in business management and entrepreneurship and value addition on their agricultural productsSupplying of different commodities to clientsFacilitating the formation and strengthening of farmer groups to pursue farming business in high value commoditiesEnsure quality through regular monitoring of activitiesProduction of Annual Work Plans and Financial BudgetsCollection and dissemination of market prices for agricultural products from selected rural and urban markets.Updating Bids and Offers on both Black board and white boardCompiling technical and financial reports on weekly and monthly basis.Facilitate filling of commodity trade forms by a bidder to sell or buyReport writing
