In addition to my previous responsibilities, I also oversaw the team's contribution to the G20 Framework Working Group and led coordination on HMT's international economic analytical priorities.

Led a team delivering the PM and No10's priorities on international development, IFI reform, global health and global infrastructure investment.

Economic Adviser in Conflict Humanitarian and Security Department, leading on DFID's approach to the economics of conflict and fragility, and our understanding of war economies. Previously:• International Financial Institutions Department, leading on DFID's engagement on debt in low income countries, UK Export Finance and on VfM. • Chief Economist's Office and Quality Assurance Unit, providing economic analysis on a range of issues and quality assure business cases over £40m prior to ministerial approval.• Economist in Inclusive Societies Department working on economic analysis on civil society, women & girls, and violence adainst women and girls.

A 2 year fellowship scheme which sends postgraduate economists to developing countries to work for their government.I worked in Malawi's Ministry of Health, Planning Department.My role (amongst others) included mapping resources from donors to Ministry activities in order to analyse how efficiently they were being used and whether they were consistent with departmental objectives.This involves regular contact, both with high ranking government officials, politicians and representatives from donor organisations.
