Patrick graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2009 with a degree in Political Science/Public Administration. After graduating from UT, Patrick attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated in May 2012. Upon graduating from Cumberland, Patrick returned to Tennessee and passed the Tennessee Bar Exam in July 2012 before moving to the United Kingdom to pursue an LL.M in International Trade Law. Patrick has recently completed his masters dissertation on the topic of legal barriers to United States renewable energy, and has returned to the United States to begin his legal career. After returning to the US, Patrick subsequently became a member of the Washington, DC bar.
