After bouncing around after service with the United States Marine Corps, I settled into an exciting career in the fire and life safety industry, serving my country in a new and amazing way to me, and a very important service as well. Keeping people safe is what I've always done, from getting a rescue diver certification, to working under the safety officer in the USMC, and now as a career making sure fire systems are working the way they're supposed to. City of Portland, Oregon certification of fitness in fire Sprinkler, Standpipe, and Underground, NICET level II inspection and testing of water based systems, State of Washington ITT, Ansul factory certified in clean agent systems, NICET level II Fire Alarm Systems, and currently working on NICET certification in Special Hazard.I have a passion for cooking, building things both large and small, and outdoor recreation. I love as much as a good hike to a fishing hole in the summer for a bit of peace and quiet though, to sit down a while with a good book or video game.
