I am a data scientist working on Experian's Clarity Services' Strategic Analytics team. I use a variety of machine learning tools to build credit risk scores and acquisition models. I use statistical models to drive strategic decision-making such as developing inferential models to analyze trends in the alternate financial services market. I designed and built Clarity Analytics' cloud data warehouse in AWS, designing and building the ETL's, saving our teams weeks of time spend in development and data wrangling. I enjoy providing stakeholders with easily understandable data visualizations and dashboards to provide business insights and facilitate data-driven decisions. I have many years of programming experience in R, Python, PySpark, and SAS, and I have developed a considerable amount using the AWS cloud environment. In the past, I utilized workforce compensation databases and other HR data to plan and execute pay equity studies, and to analyze claims in pay discrimination litigation and wage and hour disputes. I attended Florida State University and obtained a PhD in Political Science with a concentration in quantitative data analysis in 2016 and received extensive training in numerous statistical methods and data project design.
