As a Crew Chief at Ocean City, Maryland Beach Patrol, I lead a team of surf rescue technicians who provide emergency medical care and water safety services to the public. I am also a certified Wilderness EMT, having completed an intensive course with NOLS in October 2023. I have over three years of experience in the field of emergency medicine, both in urban and remote settings. Previously, I worked as a Program Manager at International Studies Abroad (ISA), where I coordinated and supervised educational programs for students in Ireland and Greece. I also have a background in political science, having graduated with a B.A. from University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2021, and spent a semester studying social sciences at University College Dublin. I have developed skills in emergency management, clinical administration, program management, intercultural communication, and leadership. My core competencies include teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience. I am passionate about helping people, learning new things, and exploring different cultures. My goal is to pursue a career in emergency management and humanitarian aid, where I can apply my skills and experience to make a positive impact on the world.
