*A wide variety of landscaping tasks on estates across the greater Indianapolis area. Jobs included: planting and maintaining perennials, re-sodding several backyards, and digging up then re-positioning an outdoor water piping system.

-Translated English manual into Spanish for growing Hispanic workforce-Kept track of inventory on database spreadsheet-Took note of when equipment needed repair-In charge of updating MSDS safety sheets

**Spent summer 2006 creating a database for all company inventory (tools, vehicles, etc.) kept in thewarehouse.**Arranged MSDS sheets (re: OSHA requirements) for all potentially hazardous materials and chemicalsused by company into binders for use by Star field managers.**Led a group of four other college interns in transferring all job and personnel files dating back to 1993 frompaper form onto a computer database.**Translated several company manuals (i.e. worker's safety, insurance) from English into Spanish to helpcompany with an ever-growing Hispanic workforce.; Involvement**Reporter and Columnist for school newspaper The Bachelor Interviewed a diverse campus population (students, professors, administrators, board members) for news stories. Among the most prominentwas an investigative piece on a controversial course, Culture and Traditions, which all Wabash sophomoresare required to take. Spent junior year writing mainly opinion pieces. As a senior was assigned a weekly columnin the opinion section, and was asked by editors to write a special memorial piece for the week of October4th following the untimely death of a Wabash freshman.**Writing Tutor/Fellow in the Wabash Writing Center. Spent 5 hours a week helping students withwriting problems and/or issues with papers. Must be nominated by an English Department faculty member
