Recent graduate of the Software Engineering and Development program at Flatiron School in Manhattan.Originally graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in theatre, I moved to NYC to pursue an acting career. For ten years, I traveled the world performing for various companies and tours as an artist and an educator. In between these jobs, I worked primarily in hospitality, becoming a very successful Bartender in fine dining with Hillstone and currently now as a server with RH Rooftop in the Manhattan hotspot Meatpacking district.I have always had a strong hunger for knowledge and strive to better myself through learning and experience. As I think we all did, I spent much of the Pandemic re-evaluating my goals and the direction I desire for my family and my life. This re-evaluation ultimately led me to coding. Through much encouragement from friends in the industry, I decided to start my journey into tech with Flatiron in spring of 2023. My problem solving skills and analytical mindset helped me to excel in hospitality while my creative, interpersonal and observational skills set me up for success in the arts.
