Current-Lead a team of recruiters and admissions representatives specialized by student type and/or academic program, for example: international, graduate, business, health/science/technology, humanities/social sciences, dual enrollment/early college or workforce/continuing education-Assist the admissions leadership team with one or more key areas of responsibility: staff interviewing, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation; development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of… Show more -Lead a team of recruiters and admissions representatives specialized by student type and/or academic program, for example: international, graduate, business, health/science/technology, humanities/social sciences, dual enrollment/early college or workforce/continuing education-Assist the admissions leadership team with one or more key areas of responsibility: staff interviewing, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation; development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of articulation agreements (by student type or academic discipline), admission/recruitment policies, procedures, forms, and systems; develop and nurture external partnerships and pathway agreements with state/national/international organizations that will support enrollment growth in certain academic programs or student populations-Assist with the writing and editing of copy for use in admissions communications or admissions-related portions of university publications.-Act on behalf of the director in his/her absence.-Serve as a student recruiter: visit high schools, attend recruitment events as needed-Interview students applying for admission to the university as needed-Assist in the review of applications and recommend action.-Represent admissions on various university committees.-Keep abreast of current university programs, policies and procedures.-Oversee admission counselors, assistant directors and recruiters on assigned team. Hires new employees, schedules employee work hours and grants time-off, evaluates employee performance, develops, coaches and counsels employees, takes disciplinary actions, and provides recommendations on handling employee grievances and complaints.
