I oversee up to 50 different insolvency appointments at any one time, with experience working with distressed companies across a broad range of industries, including construction, manufacturing and retail. My role demands strong analytical skills in order to identify potential sources of recovery for the benefit of creditors, and to assist with the preparation of complex investigative reports to the ASIC. I am also required to demonstrate stakeholder management skills, developed through working with numerous parties during the course of insolvency appointments, including banks and financiers, creditors, employees and government bodies. My role requires me to appreciate the different and often competing interests of these stakeholders.Key Achievements:- Overseeing up to 50 insolvency appointments at any one time.- Assisting the development of my colleagues through working on engagements with junior staff.- Regularly called upon to review and provide comment on internal processes and procedures, and highlighting potential improvements.- Prepared and presented an internal training session to junior and senior staff on dividend processes and procedures, including reporting on recent developments in this area.
