Education is a profession I stumbled into - quite literally - as I found my way into the education department as a lost freshman on my first day of college. The staff showed me the way to my first class, but that moment also showed me my future.Teaching in a traditional classroom setting for nine years has led me to stumble into other education teaching opportunities. I have led workshops on both the school and diocesan levels about student behavior and curriculum development. I have created service-learning opportunities for students that have brought from the classroom to interact with the people in their neighbors.I am working on a Masters in Children's Literature at Trinity College Dublin to provide more learning for future classrooms, and I am mentoring students to Dublin through the transition from the American to the Irish college system.
